Pros: -120+fps at 4k in most games with a few exceptions. -Runs Cool
Cons: High-pitch COIL WINE, everyone has different tolerances for what's acceptable. For an almost $2000 video card it should run flawlessly. I choose not to RMA the card as I believe most 4090's suffer from this plague on the ears!
Overall Review: - I'd recommend the 4090 to anyone who games at 4k anything less its overkill.
Pros: Card does what it's supposed to. Stays at decent temperatures, tops out at 69c the majority of the time. Great for high resolution gaming.
Cons: Coil SCREAMING. This is by far the worst coil whine I've ever heard on a video card. Yes, I know it's a thing with GPU's, but it's loud to the point where I think something is going to pop. Coming in at near $2,000, this is NOT an issue that you want to have, especially being able to hear it over sound coming though my headphones during gameplay. Would be a 5 star review if not for this.
Overall Review: I wish the coil screaming could be lessened or eliminated. You don't buy a 4090 only to lower graphical quality/settings thus lowering the coil whine, that's ridiculous. I'd have bought a different card for that. It's great being able to turn everything up and stay at high framerates, but the coil whine is definitely takes away from the experience.
Dear Valued Customer, We sincerely apologize for the coil whine issue you have been experiencing with your ASUS graphics card. The coil whine is easier to be heard in a quiet environment, or for the people who are more sensitive of higher frequency sound. ASUS will reduce the noise as much as possible, but this noise can’t be completely eliminated due to this sound is a physical phenomenon produced by normal using a device. We do stand behind our product and we continuously strive to improve our products and processes in order to achieve customer service excellence. Pros: Its a 4090 Well built and premium feel 600W Power Limit so +33% on the slider
Cons: The coil whine on mine is the worst of any of the 15+ GPUs Ive ever owned. 1 egg removed for that Personal experience is my Gaming X Trio overclocked better than this card Expensive but given the quality this one doesnt lose any points from me, just is the price
Overall Review: I I got this card because it was in my Top 3 (Strix, Suprim X, or TUF). The Strix pricing is in lala land, and the Suprim X after researching some more I found has a lower power limit which is what I sold my Gaming X Trio to avoid. The moment I started playing Warzone I got the oh man feeling when my frames came out to about 5 less with the PL unlimited and same settings. It got worse when I fired up Cyberpunk and Tarkov and this card was SCREAMING at me via coil whine. The type of coil whine that would make you think your product was defective. Spent yesterday tuning the memory and core to settle at +1250MHz on memory and +245MHz on memory to settle in at about 3075MH in Warzone which now beats my MSI which could only hold 3045-3060 before eventually crashing. At the end of all this I would still recommend this card, youll be a double winner if you dont get one that has coil whine.

Pros: Amazing performance! Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about how this card performs. It chews everything I throw at it and spits it out without care. It took a huge load off my CPU when it comes to 3D projects in Unity as well Runs insanely cool. I've never seen it run over 65C even at full 100% load.
Cons: My only issue would be coil whine. Once this card goes over 90% load the coil whine is pretty bad. But I suppose if you use a headset you wont notice that.
Overall Review: FANTASTIC product! Minus an egg for the terrible price and Coil whine If you have the money to burn than go for it.
Pros: Runs super cool and quiet
Overall Review: If you have the money definitely worth it!
Pros: runs great very stable 2730mhz O.C aluminum shroud.built Tuf runs very cool,no coil whine absolutely love this card was afraid i wasnt going to find a MFG i liked after EVGA departure but love the tuf case and minitors i have si figured i'd give them a try i do believe ive found my future card mfg top notch card.
Cons: none as of yet
Overall Review: highly recommend to anyone who wants a high end great running well made card
Pros: This card easily runs many games I throw at it. -It fits in the Cooler Master Haf700 Berserker -Minimal RGB (Subjective) -Mine is quite quiet.
Cons: -Expensive -The card is massive -Some other cards looks a bit better (Also subjective)
Overall Review: Overall the card is very good. Excellent performance, quite, and easily handles the games I play. I mostly play Destiny 2, G of War, Horizon, and Spider-man. I mainly purchased this for its ray tracing abilities so I can get into the Witcher, Cyberpunk, and other RT games. I've tested the card with Portal RT and its amazing. While testing the card, I didn't notice any change in fan speeds, coil whine, or other changes in ambient sounds. I don't have any complaints about this cards performance. It's a beast. Now to the things that are not so great. Most older cases, especially with drive bays in the front, probably won't fit this card. I tested in an Cooler Master CM Storm stryker and it's a no go. Luckily I knew this and had a different rig to place it in. Now to the elephant in the room. This card is expensive. Its not easy to spend 1500+ on a graphics card. Luckily I had a giftcard and a store credit card for the purchase. Overall the price of the card is my main gripe.
Pros: - Fast card, can't get much faster at this time - The cooler is very good and keeps things very cool (60-65 degrees C) - Fans are almost silent even at full load
Cons: - Noisy with coil whine.
Overall Review: - Would definitely recommend. - Extremely good performance. - Be careful about case fitment. The 011 Dynamic (original) will not fit with the stock nVidia connector. I purchased the Corsair replacement directly from them and it is a thinner connector and only requires 2 (versus 4) connections on the Corsair power supply (AX1200i) - Noisy coil whine may be a turnoff for some
Pros: Performance, Build Quality, Cooling, Best looking 4090
Cons: Expensive, 12vhpwr adapter
Overall Review: The 4090 is a monster GPU that chews through pretty much anything you throw at it. The Asus TUF is hands down the best looking 4090, and the build quality is also top notch. The all aluminum shroud really makes it feel like a premium card. No cheap plastic like some of the other partner cards. Thermals are also above average. I've been using for 3 or 4 days now, and it's rare for the card to exceed 60C at 4k 120 max settings. Haven't noticed any coil whine while playing. Zero regrets from purchasing this card.
Pros: Quite, cool, nice look, build quality and about twice as fast as my 3080Ti.. Corsair PSU with Corsair 600w cable gets rid of giant, janky adapter if you can catch it in stock.
Cons: HUGE and 200 dollars more then non OC edition.
Overall Review: I usually go with EVGA but since they are done making GPU's ASUS has got my back! I actually did some research and knew most likely the card would be to big to be able to put my side window on (Lian Li 0-11 dynamic) and so I have it vertically mounted with (Phanteks (PH-VGPUKT4.0_03) and as you can see in the pic that was the best move ever because it fits without having to worry about sag, looks better and also has a lot more room around the card for airflow helping with temps. Hopefully the guy in the other review gets a vertical mount for his rig.... GAME ON!
